So, as you can see I’ve got a very minimal theme setup. The reason is because WordPress.com doesn’t allow you to install a theme. You are only allowed to pick from a set amount of themes and you have to pay like 15 bucks to use a custom css file. My goal was totally free but I’m considering paying the 15 bucks to have a custom css. First, that’s a hell of a lot cheaper than the 27 bucks every three months I was paying for hosting, and second, the only other real solution is to use blogspot and their site just doesn’t compare to WordPress imho.

Anyway, the theme choice has to do with only using the css file to design the blog. I chose the Sandbox theme specifically because it’ll give me the most control over the theme using just css. Trust me, it’ll look nothing like it does now when I get done.

Welcome to my new blog! Not sure if I’ll do anything with this or not, but I have a domain that is good until like 2012, or something like that, so I figured I’d better point it to something. I realized that paying monthly hosting costs for a personal blog that no one reads was kind of pointless so I stopped. My domain has been pointing to limbo for awhile now. I had it pointing to some free hosting site for a bit but didn’t do anything with it. A friend suggested a free WordPress blog so I signed up. I was so impressed with the setup that I decided to point my domain here. We’ll see how it goes.
